This is our third photoquote set against imperialism. Here’s the first photoset & here’s the second. We’ve uploaded all of these pictures (and many others) onto our Facebook photostream featuring activists, historic figures, writers, artists & movement leaders from various backgrounds and time periods, ideologically united against capitalism.
Our first, second and third photosets critical of capitalism can be found through their respective links. A photoset we did on the Prison Industrial Complex can be found here & a photoset we did on human rights for Palestinians here.

Venezuela Creates 4 Million Jobs
The claims of the free marketeers is laughable in the face of Venezuela’s Bolivarian revolution. The free market is the only thing that can create jobs for the people of America and all government regulation and planning does the opposite. The government can’t create jobs according to their economic theory. However Hugo Chavez and the economic planning if the Venezuelan state have proven them wrong once again. Since Chavez was democratically 11 years ago his leadership has created 4 million jobs.
“It’s a fact that the Venezuelan economy was not only able to totally absorb the new economically active population between 1999 and 2012, but it also absorbed almost 515,000 unemployed people to incorporate four million people [into the workforce] during this period.”
- Elías Eljuri, President of the National Institute of Statistics
In addition to this, the unemployment rate in the country has dropped 50% since his first election. This is the actual achievement of socialism that cannot be denied. When human potential is used to its fullest to make the world better we can achieve anything. Hey capitalist First World, how many jobs have you lost this year?
